The Clean Heat Project

Environment Canterbury's Clean Heat Project provides financial assistance to help homeowners and landlords in Christchurch, Kaiapoi, Rangiora, Timaru and Ashburton, who are using open fires or older solid fuel burners to change to cleaner home heating.

Changes to Financial Assistance

Financial assistance available for each town has changed. Bookings made after 1st July 2009 will now be eligible for these new plans. Check out your town to learn more.
